Hi,

I am about to start a large project that requires a mix of good 
security and speed. We have purchased (and assembled) a twin P3 450 
MHz server, 20 Gig HD, DVD CD-ROM and DAT TD.

If anything I would like to know of any flavors of LINUX to 
specifically "avoid", or if anyone has used a similar 
setup/configuration to ours, I would love to hear a brief history of 
any problems discovered.

We intend to use the latest version of Minivend (4.02).

As per usual this project needed to be up and running 6 months ago, 
so speed is of the essence. The companies IT dept. has a preference 
for 'DEBIAN', but the CTO and I prefer:

Redhat
Mandrake
NetBSD
FreeBSD

Any comments about any of the above flavors would be most appreciated,
