[mv] Do I need a binary use Signio's Payflo?

Talked with a tech at Signio, and he knew about
minivend and told me that it works with Signio.  Fine.
 I asked him if I need a binary (ref. to in this group
before as pfpro), he said nope.  I got Mikes signio pm
and looked over it.  It does ref. to pfpro:

my $exe = "$Global::VendRoot/lib/pfpro";

Do I need this???

Next question - I would like to pass my customers to
their server for secure processing.  I'm guessing I
don't need the signio.pm interface for MV then, but
can anyone suggest a simple way for me to
automatically know if the transacion went to
completion?  Signio will send back results, but I
don't want to have to make my own cgi to parse them. 
Can I somehow pass the results to MV?  What I'd really
like to do is have signio pass the user to the final
receipt page, but with a way to check that the
transaction was done:
