You could open a new window, center screen,  with a message in it that says,
"Item [item] has been added to your shopping cart. Thank you for your
order".  When the user closes the window, the original page is still there.

By default, when someone orders an item automatically
shopping cart is displayed. I don\'t want to do this. I
want to stay the same page after ordering an item.

What should I do?
