Transaction DB Modifications

I'm trying to modify the structure of the transaction database.  I've added
extra fields in the transaction database however I can't seem to find were
minivend writes to this database.  I've been working with the simple demo and
I can't find any files under the /pages directory that write to the
transaction database.  Am I missing something or is writing to the transaction
database done somewhere else?

I realize I can use the [data ...] tag in the receipt.html file to write to
the transaction database but I'm really curious as to where minivend does
this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
