I tried copying the examples in the section on product discounts in the
first place and that produced formatted numbers. Surely, if there are
going to be examples in the docs, they should be correct. That way,
people like me wouldn't ask what is obviously a silly question.
The problem with all mailing list archives is trying to work out what
question to ask to get the letters that are relevant to the problem.
But you are right, I probably should have spent more time looking first.
