load balancing?
This is directed to Mike and the more tech-savvy MV users:
Just out of curiosity, can Minivend be "load balanced" over multiple
servers, using DNS round-robin (meaning, setting up a web site that has
multiple IP addresses in DNS with a low TTL to balance load across
multiple machines)?
My main concern would be the session.gdbm file. I could NFS mount it and
allow multiple servers to access it, but then I run into NFS
bottlenecks. Does MV4 still use a local file for session state, or can
the session info be stored on an SQL server (which would then be my
bottleneck, but, IMHO, a smaller one).
