Re: [mv] background texture on checkout page



The same thing happened to me! I couldn't figure it out...
1. SSL and unencrypted pages were on same machine, same domain.
2. All images (but one) showed up the same on secure pages as on unsecure 
ones.
3. "Phantom" image was visible on my computer (client) but appeared as a 
broken-image icon on somebody else's (using the same platform and browser.)
To fix it, I re-created the problem image as .jpg. It originally was a .gif. 
The problem disappeared. To this day, I cannot explain why. Maybe the SSL 
server software, the browser, the Internet connection, my GIF image, and El 
Nino all scrambled each other up a bit!  :o)
