a small perl question

Hi all, and thanks to all the people that helped me over the months....

Ok, im not much into Perl, i can take a script and modify it, and understand
almost all of it...
Now, i am using a small script that uses cgi-lib and the script allows the
upload of a file, and changes its name for security reasons....The script
sets a variable with the name of the 'new' file, how can I pass this value
to minivend so I can now what filename goes with what user?  I want to send
the value of this variable in the Minivend email form...is there a special
way to do it? Can i call the variable using [scratch]???
