Re: Re: [mv] Minivend-Cybercash Comm problem (I'm just too damn stupid to use minivend)

No apologies are necessary; Minivend is hard stuff, as is e-commerce in
general. There
was a great howto article on building a shopping site, and it said about
implementing e-commerce:

Ecommerce is at once mind-numbingly boring and terrifyingly
difficult. It turns out to be a miracle that most businesses operate
successfully at all. With ecommerce, people start demanding that
all the business systems that have been up 8 hours a day, 5 days
a week with human intervention now be available 24x7 and be fully
automated. The worst thing about building ecommerce systems is that
nobody will notice if you do the job right.

We may get past that someday, when we learn more. But from my experience
I identify with it pretty well.

It works fine; the demo just didn't support it until later.
