Getting arguments....
Hi there!!!
We installed a few days ago a Linux powered apache web-server
with the postgres DBM. And our intention is to create a virtual shop
using Minivend (do you know it ? :-> ).
OK, we installed Minivend, we probe the "simple" sample, we make
some catalogs for testing and then we begin preparing the final catalog
for the Shop. This catalog gets data from the DBM, tables, data, and all
stuff is ready, of course.
Now: we have problems to make this simple page
with minivend: In one page called "indexes.html" we have inserted a tag like
this:
[page escapespage arg1=escapes]ESCAPES FOR FREE[/page]
indexes.html -----------(arg1=escapes)----> escapespage.html
Well, clicking on this link you go to a page passing an argument (arg1).
The problem is that in destiny page we can't (we don't know) how to get
the argument 'escapes'. We want to make a SQL query with this argument.
How should we do it ?
using perl ?
-If you can, tell us two ways to get the argument: using perl, and
using minivend.-
Thank you very Much!!!
