Evaluating tags in [discount][/discount]

Hi,

I can't scratch any variable in the [discount][/discount] tags.
I've tried  [discount 99-99 interpolate=1][scratch myDiscount] [/discount],
  [discount 99-99] $Safe{'scratch'}{'myDiscount'}[/discount] but MV can't 
evaluate anything in those tags

I found postings realtives to the same problems but no satisfying solutions.
If anybody knows... Thanks
