MiniMate edit DB problem

Using MiniVend V3.14-3...

When I use MiniMate to "Edit" and then "Delete" ("Yes Delete") a row and
then  "Submit Change" with "Auto Export" selected, the item that I was
trying to delete still shows up when doing searches like
/scan/di=category/df=yes/dl=tools.

The item no longer appears in products.asc, but does still appear in
products.gdbm.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to be certain that the deleted item is
completely gone?
