MV hangs...

hello list,

I am dealing with a problem that just came up several days ago. Up until last friday,
minivend had been running like a charm. Then, all of a sudden, it would start to hang. I
had not made any changes to my catalog or configuration files for a week at that point so I
am hard pressed to figure out what is causing this. My real problem arises when I try and
restart the server. It seems that there is still a process running with the name of my
tlink program, and I cannot kill it. Everytime minivend starts up again, it is still hung
because of this process. If I do a kill -9, the pid just changes. Sometimes if I wait a few
minutes, this process just dies by itself. Other times it just lives on. This is really
frustrating me to no end! I hope someone can give me a clue as to what is happening. If I
have not provided enough information, forgive me, it is very early/late!
