"/cgi-bin/simple.cgi/index was not found on this server"

I now have the simple catalog installed and parially working.

I'm now getting the following on the index.html page when I select
"Enter the store".

The parameters to the cgi are as follows:
  http://objectivesolutions.net/cgi-bin/simple.cgi/index?C4wEgYDL;;16

The message I get in my browser is:
  "Not Found The requested URL /cgi-bin/simple.cgi/index was not found
on this server."

Other cgi scripts in this directory work.  All minivend
directories/files are owned by user "minivend", group "nobody".  The
daemon is started by "minivend" user.

ps aux gives the following:
  minivend  5392  0.0  5.8 11872 11228  ?  S    20:08   0:00 minivend

I'm using Red Hat Linux release 5.2 (Apollo) (Kernel 2.0.36) and Apache
server.  Minivend is lates version.

Any suggestions?
