I tried the self compilation and did get it to work but felt I was not
knowledgeable enough to know whether I had gotten all the options
correct.  So I just bought Red Hat Linux E-Commerce Server V 6.0 and it
all comes ready to go out of the box and includes a $25.00 discount
coupon for a Thawte SSL Certificate.  I had it installed in about 2
hours, got my SSL certificate about 3 days later and it's all done and
it works.  Hope this helps.
