RE: [mv] Please Help!!
Hi,
Thanks again for replying. I feel that I am getting close. When I click on
the checkout button in my shopping cart, the checkout page is called and
security is triggered, but I get the following reply:
AND in my error.log I see
dynamic20.pm09.sf3d.best.com - - [22/October/1999:11:21:26 -0700] -
/~mstuppin/index.cgi/process Undefined catalog: /~mstuppin/index.cgi
What is an Undefined catalog error?
If I can define it, I think I will have the SSL.
Thanks for any ideas.

https://www.secure-domain.com/~user
or
https://user.secure-domain.com
(or possibly some other way)
Once you figure it out, try the appropriate link:
https://www.secure-domain.com/~user/cgi-bin/simple
or
https://user.secure-domain.com/cgi-bin/simple
(or possibly some other way)/cgi-bin/simple
Once you figure it out, use that url (minus /cgi-bin/simple) as your
secure url.
If they say that your secure directory is different than your normal
directory, politely ask them if it can be changed to point to your normal
directory. There maybe a way to do it with out this change, but it would
be more difficult and I don't have the answers.
I use a different secure domain for several catalogs, but I have the
following
set up so that it works without any special changes:
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/simple /usr/home/USER/cgi-bin/simple
Alias /simple/ /usr/home/USER/www/simple
(replace USER with yours)
That way I can call:
https://www.secure_domain/cgi-bin/simple
and it would be the same as:
http://www.my_domain.com/cgi-bin/simple
Hope this helps,
Kyle
The reason for the Alias is for any graphics etc
