It depends on how you are set up in the apache config file.
I assume you are using the same domain name for both
http and https.
Try a simple test:
if your normal url is:
http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/CATALOG
try https://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/CATALOG
Other than some complaints about insecure graphics, etc. It should
run.
If you get an error that it is not there, then you or your isp needs to
change the ScriptAlias and Alias directives for your secure domain
to match your regular domain.
If you get a server error, check the error logs (apache) carefully, there
maybe different logs for the secure domain vs the regular domain.
If you are NOT using your own domain name for the secure pages, then
you have a whole different situation.
