Well, I fixed the order.number problem. I ended up, literally, copying the 
simple/ demo's etc/ directory over my catalogs and it worked perfectly. So 
I must have had a hosed file somewhere.

Quick fix question. It's not essential to what I am doing, more annoying 
than anything else, and the docs aren't making much sense to me. Is there a 
quick way to turn

[set [L] continue shopping [/L]
mv_todo=return
mv_nextpage=last_search
[/set]

from the value of "last_search" to the value of the http_referer? I tried 
embeding perl in there, and it didn't work, and the docs about the data 
tags are confusing me.
