Is there a way to disable thosands separator

Hello.  

I have another interesting internationalization problem.

Is there a way in minivend to disable the thousands separator in item
prices?

In Finland we use separators only in decimals, so instead of changing the
thousands separator, I'd like to disable it..

I know that tag 
Locale fi mon_thousands_sep .

changes it to the '.' ,but we dont really use that either :)
