search works - feedback form not working....!!!

Hello,

I have customised the simple catalog to suit my company requirements.
I have used mvend 3.14-3 (redhat 4.2, perl 5.004_04).

While installing mvend on a local machine (redhat 4.2, perl 5.004_04),
I said no for installing the extra CPAN modules that the install program
prompted for. The config. works locally. I then installed the same mvend 
version on the server and uploaded the catalog to the server. The search and
most of the things work except the feedback form. 

The cat. error log has the following errors....

The default sendmail path /usr/lib/sendmail has been changed in catalog.cfg
and I also tried to use sendmail directly to see if it has any problems but 
it seems to be working fine.

Has anybody encountered same problem before? Is it trying to send a mail to
say, user@www.servername.com instead of user@servername.com.
