I wouldn't recommend using this option until MV version 4.0.
If a user has ordered more than one item, the results get messed up.
But just for status-checking, I get it could suffice.
I had the same problem.
What you need to do is this: on the bottom of the order report,
put [tag export transactions transactions.raw][/tag].
That does the trick. And remember: on the bottom !
Else it MV will not use the updated order-database.
