Re: [mv] Possibly newbie questions but I'm asking anyway

Hello Joachim,
Thanks for your speedy reply! In my price field, there is a "." seperator for dollars and cents. I've looked at the
basket.html file for the sample catalog (which worked fine) and that uses [discount-price]. I've tried that, and also
your suggestion of [discount-price noformat=1]. Neither work appropriately. The sample catalog tag returns $0.00 and
your's returns the tag literally, so I must not have that set up somewhere. At any rate, nothing seems to work right
against my database. I really am impressed by MiniVend and all the things that it is able to do, but it seems like the
learning curve is a bit steep. The documentation seems to be quite comprehensive, but it would be nice to have something
that does a little more hand-holding. To me, the sample catalog is like getting a piece of machinery that you don't know
how to use, and your instructions for learning it turn out to be another piece of machinery that you don't know how to
use.

I hope that I'm not sounding overly critical here... I really appreciate the amount of work and effort that everyone
involved has put into this program. I'm just saying that if I sound stupid about MiniVend, that's the way I feel about
learning it :-)

Thanks for listening to my rants, I've been at this for too many hours....
Dan
