side effect using MV=page MV.HREF=dir/page

I don't know if this has come up but is there anyway around the nasty little
side effect when using
<a MV="page" MV.HREF="dir/page" href="page.html">

if you try and add mouse overs to the <a>nchor they get stripped out by
minivend.

otherwise is there any problem if i use a regular <a href> tag and don't
pass the session info each time?  (maybe for people w/o cookie support?)

using minivend 3.14-3 on solaris 2.7?  and perl 5.005
