installing through telnet on a unix platform
hello all,
I have been trying many times to install minivend on our virtual host
running on sun O/S. I admit my unix is not up to snuff, but what I do
know is that this install with all the documentation should not be that
difficult. Here is the problem, I've gunzipped the file, worked out
fine, then I untarred the file in to a directory that I have created. I
know that worked ok since all the files are in that directory. I chmod
that directory to 755 and then I've ran the ./configure. My perl program
is located in usr/local/bin/ directory. When I execut the ./configure it
proceed and outputs

and stops there. It doesn't proceed into creating the first catalog
'simple'.
I've tryed install in manually by running /usr/local/bin/perl
Makefile.PL and that only leaves to a >prompt then I proceed with the
make, the make test and the make install and each input just takes me to
the next prompt...nothing happens at all. What did I miss, it install
nicely on my windows machine. Any help that you could offer would be
greatly appreciated
Thank you,
