Hi Ken,
Did you get an answer back to you question?
My system is Redhat linux 5.2 and same minivend version as you.
i work from Windows 95 and 98 computers sending my work to the Redhat
server.
How did you make and upload the products.asc file with asian fonts properly?
I inputted descriptions using chinese text font (big5) with Microsoft 2000
(which supports big5) into the products.asc. Saved it as a text file.
Uploaded it with Minivend's upload page, and reconfigured the catalog, but,
when I browse, none of the database is showing up. Anyhow, I obviously did
it wrong.
How did you:
1. make your asian language products.asc with asian language (I'm assuming
chinese)
2. upload it
3. and get the it to show/work on the browser?
Does minivend support double-byte/unicode asian language fonts?
Sincerely,
Frank
