Regarding static build ....

Hi list,

someone and i have told about the trouble to build some page static.
E.g. we get a half results page. 
Has anybody of this list a success static building of results page? Has
someone of this list any success experience with this features?

I need a little bit of hints or tips! Maybe the solutions is very
simple, but i die hard to try out the solutions *and* to understand the
part (static building facility) of the english written document. 
The questions is:
1. [tag flag build][/tag] prevent a static building. Right?
2. [tag flag build]YES[/tag] will force a static building. Right?
3. Are there another tag to force or prevent a static building?
4. Are there a tag to ignore some dynamic MV tag and to force the static
building with conditions or elsewhere? 
E.g. 
	[if file image] show-image-url-etc.gif [/if] is not very important.
	I am looking for a solutions like
	[forcestatic]
		[if file image] show-image-url-etc.gif [/if]
	[/forcestatic]
	and to tell MV, "Hi! Ignore this dynamic elements and go on...!".
5. The resultspage is coming from the srchform page or from the catalog
page. I have a scratch variable in my results page and in my flypage
too, because i must know, from where did the results page builded (or
coming from?)? This is very important. Is MV able to know the right
value of this scratch variable?

Can someone from this list give me any little bit light for my head?
