form question
Hi all...
I think I've done this before, but I can't remeber if I got it to work or
not:
Here's my situation:
I have a page with multiple items on it. Any of the items may or
may not have color or size information with it. I want to have the page
set up as one single form so that people can buy more than one item at a
time.
My problem arises when someone onders only one item that does not
have a size or color attributed to it. It seems that when someone does
click on "order" a size and color attribute from another item is being
added to it. I'm pretty sure my problem lies in what the various
pulldowns and hidden fields are called.
Right now, they are all "mv_order_color", "mv_order_size",
"mv_order_item", etc. I realize that having the same variable name for
everything is most likely causing my problem. These items are NOT looped
(the page is actually an e-mail sent to the user). I seem to remember
something about having to rename variables in this situation to something
like "mv_order_item0", "mv_order_size0", "mv_order_color1" etc. I did try
this, but upon clicking "order", nothing got added to the cart.
Can anyone point me in the right direction (since I have to send out
another one of these "e-catalogs" on monday)?
Thanks.
