Minivend should not be run as root, should be owned/run by the minivend
user. The tlink/simple cgi should be owned by the minivend user.
You should verify that the Minivend daemon is running by checking a ps.
The tlink tells us that the server is unavailable because it cannot connect
to the daemon.
