Re: seperate database for product specifications



The following assumes you are using the default databases within Minivend
(gdbm, etc.) rather than a SQL database.

You may access data from any Database you declare in the Catalog.cfg file using
the form: [data base field key] so if your database file is named "specs" 
with the fields "code" and "specification" hen the actual tag on the flypage
would be:

[data specs specification [item-code]] 

the [item-code] of course is the code from the current product on the flypage
that you are viewing out of your main products database.

This code works great for me - I have just used it on my most current Minivend
project.
