Syntax error when using "Continue Shopping" button.

Hello,

	I've had this problem for some time, and have tried to solve it, in
vain, on my own.

	My setup: MV 3.14; RH Linux 6.0; Pentium 333; 64M; MiniVend is running
on my own server.

	When I have items in my cart and then choose to "Continue Shopping", I
get the following messages:

In Browser:	Internal Server Error...

In ErrorLog:	[23/August/1999:14:31:38 -0500] catalog name
/cgi-bin/catalog name/ord/basket Safe: syntax error
		at (eval 64) line 1, near "(||"
		1 * ( || 0)

	The only way to get "past" this, is to shut down the browser and start
over.

	I have gone thru the maillist archive, and have found similar problems.
The solution appeared to be making sure that
the item-field weight was in the products.asc file, since this is called
in the line (within basket.html) that is referred to by the error.log. 
In my case, the weight field IS in the products.asc file -- so this
stumps me further.

	BTW, if it is a weight field category, why does it present such a
problem ONLY when I "Continue Shopping"?

	This has been an issue from catalog to catalog, and (I think) from MV
3.12 to 3.14.
