RE: Speed on Raq
The Raq boxes are very quick for flat file serving, 64bit cpu, 150MHz for
the Raq or 250 for the Raq2, about equivalent to 250 - 350MHz PII but they
tend to be relatively low on RAM and only have IDE drives. I've seen some
people try to run large Perl based CGI apps on these with the base memory
(16-32Mb) and it just doesn't work. If you go for Raq boxes make sure to max
the RAM, I think they can take about 256Mb and put the database on a
separate box.
