Thanks for the help.  I reinstalled on the new server, once again
I think possibly successfully if I can resolve a couple issues.  When
I click on the Enter the store on the simple splash page, I get an error
that the Minivend server is unavailable.  I run the restart command,
and get the following:

Apparently no MiniVend daemons were up -- no PID files.
Ambiguous use of index => resolved to "index" => at /usr/home/cusatis/mvend/lib/Vend/Parse.pm line 145.
Ambiguous use of index => resolved to "index" => at /usr/home/cusatis/mvend/lib/Vend/Parse.pm line 325.
Ambiguous use of index => resolved to "index" => at /usr/home/cusatis/mvend/lib/Vend/Parse.pm line 397.
MiniVend V3.14
Configuring catalog simple...Out of memory!

Any ideas?  Once again, all assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am running minivend on Irix, Solaris, and RedHat.  The least problems are
found on Linux.  (I don't know about BSD).  Irix is the most painful, so if
you can get away from that, do!  Go to http://www.perl.com/CPAN/ and you
will automatically be redirected to the closest CPAN mirror.  Check your URL
bar and you'll have the answer!

Hi.  I am new to Minivend.  I ran what seemed to be a successful install
yesterday, except that I didn't know what to put for my favorite CPAN
site.  Everytime I put one, it said something about not being able to
find mirror dot something.  What site do you suggest, or what has been
successful for you?  Other than that, it seemed to install properly.
There were some server problems (I put it on an IRIX machine), but my
ISP is moving some of my domains to their new BSD server running Apache,
so I'm going to try the install again on that server and see if I can do
a completely successful install.  Thanks for any help.
