Thanks and Request for List

First, I need to thank all of you on the list. Although I've never
posted before, I read voraciously. You've helped me complete a number
of complex catalogs, including multiple receipt pages, activating
CyberCash on-the-fly, doing customer-driven imprintable items, price
breaks, customer-driven optional handling charges, multiple product
files ....  I suppose I could go on. Thanks! 

I'd share all my learned experience on the list, but somebody always
beats me to the answer :-) Now, however, I want to complain...

I was wondering what the general consensus was on splitting the
minivend-users list into two lists - one to deal with issues of
installing, configuring and setting up _minivend_ and one to deal with
tags, data, SQL and configuring/setting up _catalogs_. It seems to me
these are two very different topics.  And since we've had MV installed
and functional for some time now, it's really a bore to wade through
all the program setup questions when its the tag-use I'm really after. 

I'm sure there's a reason, which someone will point out to me, why it
hasn't been done. Or maybe it hasn't been suggested? In light of the
bundling of MV with RedHat (i.e. the coming of September), this might
be the time.
