MiniVend Multitasking

Hi all,

I've been testing MV's performance and I've have a couple questions.

1) I've noticed that if MV is working on a large search or processing an
order, it will not process any other page requests until it is finished with
the search or order processing.  Is this normal?  I've alway been under the
impression that minivend would spawn off other process to handle these
requests simultaneously.

2) I use MySQL for my databases.  I can perform a search on a database and
it will return results instantaneously.  I can do another search on the same
column and it will take MV a couple of minutes to process it.  When I run
this same search from command line, my results are instantaneous.  For some
reason, MV seems to be choking on the search, any thoughts on why this might
happen?
