I didn't use the equal signs and it works -
this is what i did

code             price     S     R     C     B
P404-11     49.95     0     2     25     27
P404-35     39.95     0     2     25     27
P01-03       39.95     0     2     25     27
P01-100     39.95     0     2     25     27

when i read the documentation, it said the two fields that were required to make the
pricing database work was
code and price - price being the regular price of your product, then if like lets say
your large was 3 bucks more than the
regular price you would just put a 3 in the column called L if it was 3 bucks less for
like a small then you would put
a -3 on the the S column.
