Select Box on search results page...how?

Hi All,

I'm customizing the results.html to suit my needs. What I want to do is have 
the values of a database field "flavor" show up as a selection box on that 
page, rather than waiting until the checkout process. However, when I add 
the [item-accessories flavor] tag to the results.html page it shows the 
values written out as text, rather than as a pull-down box. Is [search-list] 
treating this tag differently than [item-list] would? Anyone have a 
workaround for this?
