You can do [page href="scan" arg="va=Variable=Value"] and [value
Variable], which will be "Value" on the results page.

Or you can do [page href="[item-code]" arg="va=Variable=Value"] and [data
session arg], which will be "va=Variable=Value" on the fly page.

A note to anyone who learned to program before 1995 - neither Perl nor
Perl programmers are orthogonal. ;-)
