Hey there Tom, If you can't get this fixed, I'll personally volunteer to let you fly me over there to look at his computer. ;-)
Seriously speaking, the logic of the situation points to his hardware. If everyone in the world for the last two years that tries to, can use your system and now this person can't, perhaps they need an A+ to look at the computer. First though, make sure that you have your pounds to dollars in locale working. I can see how that could blow you up. Beyond that, if there are other problems locally on his system like a bad DLL or something, he can try re-installing the browser. Personally, I wouldn't bother using more than .5 with this person, there's not a lot you can do from where you are either way.

Subject: Cart Dropping
****** message to minivend-users from Thomas Stevenson <cwd@hostmaine.com> ******
Hi all -
Read the FAQ's on this and I see where we can try to compensate in
certain cases.
I had a customer try and checkout the other day and the cart drops. I
have ascertained that they are using IE 4.0 on a Compaq Presario. Using
a regular dialup account. Testing indicates the store is functioning as
expected. Restarted the mvend server, and the web server. Even went so
far as to reboot the entire server.
This particular version of Minivend has been running for about two years
now. I think it is version 3.0. Don't remember but it has worked
flawlessly since the install.
Any suggestions/ideas would be very greatly appreciated as this is the
first time this particular person has ever tried to buy something online
and they are in England, so's I can't get there from here. I sincerely
want to change their current perception of Web based commerce.
