I have all my locale settings in a locale.asc file and this works just
fine and is very streight forward. All variables change with the change
of the locale. All language translations are done on the fly.
I remember MikeH saying that he plans on reworking the locale system in
MV 4.0. Hopefully he will find a way to make the currency exchange rates
more dynamic by either letting us overwrite the catalog.cfg variable or
by putting them in a separate file that is not only read upon restart of
the catalog.
