Re: [perl] tag is a cruel joke, and user-defined tags don't do jack , squat. HELP! How do I use Perl!?
OK first off chill out. Minivend is a great product. Yes it does take some time but from what I have imagined that it can do it is well worth the learning curve. It seems to handle perl just fine from my perl guys workings. I am not a programmer but I had a guy in the office write me a few scripts and they worked fine without any hassle for him. Well if you haven't deleted this message yet then here is some code that should work just fine (although I haven't tried it):
[perl interpolate=1]
my $out = '';
$out = 'Hello There';
$out;
[/perl]
OK so I tried it & it works just fine.
