Internationalisation and Currency

Hi All,
As far as I can see, minivend ties internationalisation to currency on the 
assumption that money comes with country. This is beginning to make less 
and less sense; A Spanish speaker might want to use US Dollars if they are 
from Argentina, say, or the Euro if they are from Spain, and so on.
So it seems to me that these two functions need to be separated, and 
preferably set on entry into a catalog, so that calculations can be done 
properly.What minivend needs is a separate database, currency.asc 
containing the fieldsPriceDivide
currency_symbol
p_cs_precedes
decimal_point
mon_thousands_sep
mon_decimal_point
frac_digits
p_sep_by_space

Is this an idea for mv4/maxivend or can this already be implemented?
Ideas anyone?
