Sybase problem with spaces in cart names

I'm having a problem with Minivend 3.12 running with the Sybase ASE
11.0.3.3 on red-hat 5.2. The problem is, if I save a cart under a name
containing spaces ( for example: just another test ), I'm getting three
carts back when I retrieve it:
1. just
2. another
3. test
and I can't delete them. It seems the spaces are not being handled
properly? The carts field is of type text in userdb.
Can anyone help me? thanks!!
