Item-Field Perl Coding
****** message to minivend-users from Victor Nolton <ven@pragakhan.com> ******
I have gotten advice from one person on the list. I have read the
manual countless times. I have tried hundred of variations of what I
am trying to do to get a IF statement to work..
I can only begin to wonder, as suggested by someone here, that maybe
there is something wrong with the setup on minivend that is not
letting this perl run correctly. Any Suggestions on what to look for?
The code in normal perl is
if ([item-field q1] ne "" and [item-field q2] ne "" and [item-field q3] ne ""){
print "something";
}
eslif ([item-field q1] ne "" and [item-field q2] ne ""){
print "something else";
}
else {
print "this";
}
I've used examples from the minivend docs and I've tried variations
of every code in the manual. As stated before, it could be minivend
is setup wrong.
