We use and love Sascha's  Minivend Webmin module. Its really great 
for managing categories, multiple catalogs and all sorts of fun and 
exciting stuff.

You have to install webmin first but the entire procedure is fairly 
painless and if you got minivend to work in the first place you won't 
have any trouble.
