MV 3.12 stops responding

Hello all,

The catalog seems to be working great...until it stops responding. I have
to restart the server at which time I get the message...

* We couldn't immediately terminate the MiniVend server running
* on PID 24638. The server is probably just waiting for a request,
* but it is conceivable it was stopped by an error. 

I get nothing in the main or catalog error logs. 

I 'seem' to be most likely to get it to fail by doing something out of the ordinary
like pressing the reload or back button in the browser. Unfortunately users must
be doing that because most of the time when I check the catalog...it's dead again.

I don't know what to do except create a cron job that keeps restarting it. 

I am running bsdi 4.01, perl 5.005_02, minivend v3.12. The only patch I am aware of
of, is the one mike posted to the users-list a couple of weeks ago.

Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated.
