MAXLENGTH in INPUT TEXT fields (HTML)

****** message to minivend-users from Ryan Hertz <rhertz@gyb.baits.com> ******

Dear List,

After poking around some of the list member's sites I've noticed that the
majority have not put any length limitations on their input fields. (I.E.
I've ordered a zillion quantity of a product in someone's German computer
hardware site... hint hint)

The example format is like this:

Search Store: <INPUT TYPE=TEXT NAME="mv_searchspec" SIZE=11 MAXLENGTH=20>

MAXLENGTH tells the browser not to allow an entry greater than 20 chars.
I'm not sure what the number limit of PERL is, or how minivend handles
extremely large numbers, but I'd personally rather not let a customer waste
my CPU time by crunching very large numbers for their amusement.
