Mininvend is pretty powerful in that it has lots of features. However, the
price you pay for this is complexity.

Have a look at which features you really think you will use. If you will
only use a few and your product database is very small, and you will only
ever create one catalogue, then use another simpler one.

However, if you think it might expand, and you may even do more than one
catalogue, I think it is worth persevering. Be warned, it can take a lot of
effort and torn out hair to get it all working, especially if you need any
special features.
