MV3.12 UserDB.pm - no nickname?

Hi,

when I set a

[set SAVE card]
mv_todo=return
mv_nextpage=ord/checkout
[userdb function=set_shipping]
[/set]

and the nickname-field of the form is empty, I get a 500 ISE

-0600] drinks /cgi-bin/drinks/process Runtime error: no nickname? at
/usr/home/bpa03/mvend/lib/Vend/UserDB.pm line 720.)

I saw a BugFix from Russ to modify the line 1135 of the UserDB.pm to fix
a problem with spaces inside a nickname. But what do I have to change to
print an errormessage for the user?
