You can always do it, but personally I wouldn't.

I've used NetObjects for previous web projects before but not with
MiniVend.  It would serve as a great design tool, but eventually you'd
need to do codings by hand (using a text/html editor).

In order to work efficiently with Minivend, HTML coding is absolutely
necessary.  A good practise would be to create the look and feel of your
website, or rather the prototype with NetObjects.  Take the generated
pages and copy/paste code from the sample catalog pages into them.

Still, I think it'd be too messy.
