This may not be much help, but for my first installation of minivend, I literally had to install/delete it at least 12 times before I figured out what was going on. You may just need to remove it and then re-install it. Be sure to take notes on your answers to the interragatory from the makecat program. Post the entire interragatory with your next post if it still doesn't work and we may be able to help a bit more.

Hello everybody, (I would really appreciate some help)
Oh Yes, it is a headache;
I am trying and trying to install MiniVend on my virtual Server
The plateform is Linux
But it refuses ??!!
This is what I get:
From error.log (in minivend-3.12/blib)
Can't find executable ('sendmail') for the SendMailProgram directive
In line 0 of the configuration file 'minivend.cfg':
Although I changed SendMailLocation
from /usr/lib/sendmail
to /bin/sendmail (where it is located on my server)
if I specify 'SendMailProgram', 'none', (instead of executable)
I get the following message
Undefined subroutine &Vend::Config::parse_none called at
/minivend-3.12/blib/lib/Vend/Config.pm line 852.
I also changed ['ConfigDir', undef, 'etc/lib']
Into ['ConfigDir', undef, '/usr/local/lib'],
In either case I get the following message on my telnet connection:
server.......ok 1
read PID file: No such file or directory
Killed
